Pablo Neruda
Pablo Neruda (July 12, 1904 – September 23, 1973) was the pen name and, later, legal name of the Chilean poet, diplomat and political Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto. He chose (chous) his pen name after Czech poet Jan Neruda.
Neruda became known as a poet while still a teenager. He wrote in a variety (varaieti) of styles including surrealist poems, historical epics, overtly (ovorli) political manifestos, a prose autobiography, and erotically-charged love poems such as the ones in his 1924 collection Twenty Poems of Love and a Song of desperate. In 1971 Neruda won the Nobel Prize for Literature. (lichechor)
His parents were Rosa Basoalto, who died of tuberculosis when he was a month old, and José del Carmen Reyes, who left the countryside to work as a laborer on the docks of the port of Talcahuano, reaching the position of rail in Temuco.
His work Twenty Love Poems and a Song desperate, took him to the international circuits and gave (
geiv) him a reputation similar to that of Rubén Darío, until he earned (arnd) the Nobel Prize in 1971.

 

Early years


  In 1917, he published his first article in the Morning of Temuco, with the title of enthusiasm and perseverance (parsabirans). In this city, wrote much of the work, which would integrate his first book of poems: Crepusculario.
In 1919, gets third place in the Floral Games Maule perfect communion with his poem or Night ideal. In 1920 work began to identify (
aidentifai) with the pseudonym (siudunem)of Pablo Neruda, primarily (praimareli)for the purpose of avoiding (avoideng) the discomfort of having a father child poet.
